It's "Expend" not "Expand", those are two different words with very different meanings.  Also, you should use "on the field" instead of "in the arena".  "in the arena" is grammatically correct, but no one calls a soccer field "an arena".

I personally love people that try to help others improve. Thanks JAW. :)
Also, I was expecting that this little update would give a bit of motivation to pull out a new version by the time I'd be back from my father's chalet. :(

Here are the changes for my last 3 edits:

v8.4:
(Fix) Drone's ability now works.
(Addition) All units now have a "Marker" ability.
(Misc) Installation's terrain has seen some minor modifications.

v8.5:
(Fix) Markers do not interact with Queen's Grapple ability anymore.
(Fix) Markers do not spawn Force Fields anymore (unless casted outside of the arena's region).
(Fix) Marauder cannot Punish right after a Thrown-in anymore.
(Addition) The "Last 10 seconds" timer alert has been reintroduced.

v8.6:
(Change) Reduced the map size to decrease the loading time.
(Change) The "Draw" and "Kick" buttons are now disabled since those features are still incomplete.
(Change) The "Untakable Buff" Behavior duration has been reduced from 1 to 0.25.
(Change) Nydus Marker's life has been reduced from 15 to 1.
(Change) "Nydus Marker - Ball Sensor" Behavior's Period has been changed from 1 to 0.05.

Thought you guys might have been interested in those. Please share any complains. ;D

Alright, payne is so awesome he went on with redesigning abilities. Escaho, JAW and I were trying to figure out a way of getting all attacking abilities out of the game once and for all.
So far so good!

v8.7 (still not published, and will have to be tested and balanced thoroughly through private games):
- Pylon's HP reduce from 50 to 35, and Shield from 35 to 20.
- Marine's new ability replacing the old grenade: the grenade now speeds up the units it hits by giving them a +0.8 speed bonus for 2 seconds (except the caster). It also deals 40 damage, but only to structures (Pylons, Turrets, and Nydus I believe).
- Hydralisk's spit now reduces speed by 65% (instead of 75%).
- Dark Templar's new ability replacing the crazy attack: a mist is spawned where targeted. The ball shot through is slown down. A ball holder walking through it is slown down. (I am currently working on making it so that it can't be spawned if the DT is cloaked.)
- Ghost's new ability replacing the old snipe: a fairly fast missile is launched from the ghost and cloaks the first unit it hits for 5.5 seconds.
- Team Divisions should now properly be displayed while casting a vote at start.

There are still Sentry's Zap and Reaper's Spider Mines that can deal damage. I don't think the Zap should be affected, but if anyone has an idea for the Spider Mine, please share!
SCV's Turret might be changed into an auto-passer (if the ball passes over it, it is kicked back toward the closest ally). Thor will probably be reworked since it is so buggy.

i think it would be fair if sentry zap did not dmg. i also think that mine shuld be changed into another move because it is pretty much useless.

for ghost cloak  snipe shuld be something else maybe like causes enemy to become transparent so it cant pick up ball for like 3 secs (enemy can still do other stuff though)  like the stalker when it blinks. and this shuld effect only 1 unit.

If you want to keep the spider mine, make it trigger shell centered between the ball holder and the ball, pushing the ball holder away from the ball, and the ball ahead of him.
What I'd like to see for a new ability is a terrain modifier: Perhaps something reaper could throw an ice grenade and turn an area of the field into a mini skating rink, as in "Ice baneling escape".

Well, if it were only unit changes, I would say use the old one, but because one of the most annoying things was fixed, I'm tempted to say the new version will be used.  Unless we totally screw up the balance of the game, the new version will be used.

Alright,

I am going to be leaving pretty soon for quite a few months. I think I will try to release one last version before leaving.
I wish I could fix Thor, but I have tried and I just don't understand how Chirus did it.
Stalker is permanently fucked because Blizzard changed the way his spell works, and the work-around is just messy. I have one last idea in mind that might fix his current op'ness, but if it doesn't work, we'll have to find something (reducing the strength of the push, etc.).

I have no more time and motivation to work hours on creating new abilities though, so do not expect anything for SCV and Reaper, unfortunately.

As you can see, the next version is pretty much just an attempt to tweak the Stalker. If you have anything important (bugs, mostly) that you feel should be brought to my attention, please do so via this thread.

The current plan is to let RuffRidah, JAW, and Escaho, take care of any further updates. If anyone from this community is already a map-maker and has some motivation, please contact me, and we'll see if we can arrange something.

@RR, JAW, Ho: it is now time for you guys to start learning to work with the editor if you really feel like updating Strikers. I will be there to ask your questions for a week or two still, but hurry up. I however do not plan on working in front of you guys so you can learn: that takes too much time, and is less efficient than if you actually try.
